cool pic,looks like lots of fun..I think I have seen waverunners a few years ago when I have been in the US,btw I visited also Florida at that time:)
At this end ( central Italy/Adriatic seaside) they call it "pedalo'" and it looks like this:

Oh I see I've learnt a new word "waverunner", I would have called it "water scooter" or "water jet", hehe. You like to ride on them? I remember I tried out it once and it was quite fun. A fast but wet way to travel on the water
