03/05/2007 04:56:43 / happy

Today is the Lantern Festival. After this day, the Spring Festival will be over. All the people begin to get into gear and work hard. Our students begin to study hard. the Spring Festival, this traditionlal festival in China, it will say good-bye to all the people. look back to all these days, aside from putting on my weight, there is nothing to say. When you come to school, you will find an interesting phenomenon: most of students will put on their weigh ,expecial girls .The new batttle for losing weight is begin.
This is the last day the we allowed to touched off firecrackers .When the night draw on, you can hear the deafening noise of firecrackers. I remember it well, when I was a child, I liked to touch off some firecrackers like other children, and now We also can't miss this chance .My friends and I have a good celebration . it is not celebrate for Lantern Festival but also for our the CET4 passing. This is really a wonderful night .
Tomorrow the new term will come but the I can not forget this holiday ,it's so tasteful. because I have been happy with my friend these days. And you? How do you spend the special day? Who will spend it with you? Whoever will spend it with you, I will say, Have a good day! At least it is not the most humdrum day you had ever .At last best wishs for this Lantern Festival!

I checked out that lantern thing and it was chinese tradition which might reflect to some countries nearby. We in here finland don't have that kind of festivals. It's so much about traditions. We do have spring break which is called "skiing break" if i translate it word-to-word. :) It is usually the turning point into last chapter of a term. Funny thing is that the spring break is one week long but it's on a different week depending on the part of the country. Just because of "inland- tourism" and skiing centrums. Just business things.

I really would like to see some traditional festival on some big country. China for example, (can't find bigger country) :D

But anyway. I hope you enjoyed your festival and had fun with firecrackers. And all the best for you with your studies. Hang on. o/
