New home, new life
DATE: 08/22/2007 10:12:22 / MOOD: happy

I moved to a new home in my 'previous' neighbor town for over a month ago. Living in a new apartment has been great although I've been busy on working. So, lots of things have happened this summer. Weather has been varying, too, both rainy and sunny & warm days.

I also had to order a new Internet connection. Once I had sent the order it took about five weeks from my service provider to deliver my connection. However, I got my connection recently but noticed that I've forgotten what I could do on the net!

Three reasons why I installed Vista
DATE: 07/03/2007 12:41:17 / MOOD: tired

For:
  1. I got it for free, and even legally (MSDN Academic Alliance)
  2. I got a separate hard disk from my friend which I can use for installing all trash on it
  3. It's similar compared to the previous versions of Windows: I saw 'The Blue Screen of Death' three times during the installation before I noticed that I can't install it on a hard disk that is'n set to 'master'.

Against:
  1. My music software doesn't work with it
  2. Kubuntu Linux is much better
  3. I still need Kubuntu Linux if I actually want to do something with my computer
  4. I still need Windows XP if I want to make music on my computer

Taleamus Classics: Dub [reggae]
DATE: 04/22/2007 04:51:43 / MOOD: horny

Since I haven't uploaded any new music for a long time I decided to share my older productions again. So while you're waiting for new trance tunes from me you've got lots of time for listening to this reggae/dub like tune that I made for several years ago. Have fun with it and don't take it too seriously.

Taleamus Classics: Kingston [Reggae]
DATE: 01/26/2007 10:12:44 / MOOD: horny

Just got a damn good idea! I will share my older tunes, which are something that I did before I went into trance music.

I was, and I'm still very much into reggae music, so let's start with one of my Reggae-like tunes called Kingston. I'm not sure when I actually made this tune, perhaps in 2003... however, enjoy!

Sauna Trance

OK, you're going to have to tell me.

What the hell is "sauna trance" ?

I've heard the term "Sauna Trance" being used when talking about Finnish trance music. "Sauna proge" is another term which means proggy, or progressive trance. Thanks to Dj Loopy for his saunaproge mixes) btw.

Why sauna? Well, they say that Finnish trance music is pure, fresh and clean. And sauna is a symbol of cleanliness and purity.

That's what Sauna Trance is

What makes this mix even more delightful, is the amount of Finnish sound - saunatrance - as they call it ;)

Taleamus - Moscow Nights
DATE: 01/10/2007 09:44:10 / MOOD: in love

Taleamus - Moscow Nights

I've been kinda productive these days. Here is my newest production, which is actually an old Russian song called "Podmoskovnye Vechera", Moscow Nights, also known as "Midnights In Moscow".

I heard this beautiful tune for the first time when I was a kid. They played it on radio every hour before the news (just happened to tune in a Russian radio station...).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moscow_Nights wrote:
The song was written by two well-established songwriters, Vasili Solovyov-Sedoy and Mikhail Matusovsky, but they couldn't come along as to the title. Solovyov-Sedoy, who hailed from Leningrad, insisted that the song should be named "Leningrad Nights", rather than "Moscow Nights". The song resurfaced in 1955, when it was recorded by Vladimir Troshin, a young actor of the Moscow Art Theatre, for a sports movie.

I do not know when the song was originally composed. Wikipedia says that it "resurfaced in 1955", which means that it may have been composed much earlier, right? If someone has more specific information please tell me!
