Everybody hates them but spammers find more and more new techniques to catch people's interest. They use an image to write their message in so maybe be more difficult for spam filters to detect those messages.
But that's not all. The image may be an animated gif and contain more information than you can even see. Everything you see is the text you read. But every now and then it shows an other picture that contains some other text that "tells you" to do something, like "buy!". That happens so quickly that your eyes cannot see it but your brain can.
As I know this techique is sometimes used in TV adverts, isn't it?
Ahh, and right after I heard of this news I went to check out my spam emails, opened the image in GIMP and saw that it really is true lol
It's been a while since I released my last track Amore. I have been making a new choon for a while now and I got it finished yesterday. Today I got the final master from my friend and now the song is uploaded and ready to be listened.
Fat sounds, beautiful melodies and a boomy bass drum. What else does trance need? Except extremely good mastering skills...
Yep, massive thanks to Dj Unique who really improved the sounds of the track and made it sound really really good.
It's been very hard to keep all my bookmarks in order. I have lots of them because I bookmark almost all good sites to be able to find them later. I use both Linux and Windows on my computer and synchronizing the bookmarks between two operating systems or even two different computers is not always very funny.
I have tried out some online bookmark systems like del.icio.us but they haven't satisfied me. Also Google have a service to store your bookmarks and access them from any computer. You can use this service if you have a Gmail account.
Today I found a Firefox extension that makes it possible to store your bookmarks in your Google account. The extension creates a new menu "GBookmarks" that you can use instead of the traditional "Bookmarks" menu.
This is great because when you save your bookmarks into your Google account you can access them even if your computer gets broken
My ADSL modem/switch is damaged! I'm quite sure it is because of extra electricity in phone line. I downloaded (with a 56k modem) a new firmware for my modem and even managed to install it! I still can access the internal setup page of the modem. But the modem does not find the ADSL line even though it should. I tested the line using my friend's modem and it worked well!
