Well, I've finally got around to sorting the recording out and uploading it! And I'm pleased to report that I think I passed the challenge because it works out at a lovely and rather convenient 9 hours and 20 seconds :D
Far as I can tell every tune has come out this year, although some of them have been released previously as well. Some of them are also reworks of tunes made in previous years, and some others haven't exactly come out yet, but may yet do later this year. Whether any of this contradicts the rules of the original challenge I've actually no idea, but what the hell.
I've not actually listened back yet myself, but I do recall one godawful mix where I was cueing up at full volume for a short while like a dollshead.
Looking back I think the period from 5 and a half to 7 and a half hours was the hardest to do. If you were tuned you might remember the one tune that skipped in the CDJ (fecking things) which wound up in the garden shortly afterwards - thankfully I've gone back and redone this section in the recording so it's smooth again!
