Hello there. Listening to your track, and for a first timer, it's really not bad. Quick question, is this file supposed to be all the same track? There's a break at 2:53 with the ensuing song not resembling the first section at all. If so, remember when creating a tune, there's got to be a common theme, or the disparate parts have to at least fit the mood of the track. Random just for the sake of random isn't the best way to structure a track. That being said, you can create whatever you want however you want if you're happy with it. I hear several promising ideas going on in this track. Your programming is pretty good for a noob, watch your timing though. Levels are also something you'll get better at as you keep at it. If you're passionate about the music as Taleamus mentioned, follow phoenixuprising2000 and my advice and don't give up, keep on working. That's the only way to improve as I'm sure you already know. Overall I'd say good job and keep us posted on your future creations! Peace. Cool

This song has too many different parts. Well, it is also a good thing because having different parts in a song makes it more living and varying. But the parts have to fit together, so the listener doesn't feel like you're skipping from a track to another when you're only moving from a part to another. For example the kick drum you use in the end of the tune is different than the kick that started the tune.

The good thing is that you've got ideas! I can hear passion in this song! I also liked the atmospheric melody in the beginning of the tune. This sounds actually much much better than any of my 'very first' tunes.

For some years ago I was given a good advice and I want to share it as much as I can because it has helped me much. Keep a little break and don't listen to this tune for a couple of days, or for a week. Then choose a commercial music track that sounds like what you want your tunes to sound. Once you have listened to this 'reference tune' one or two times through, listen to your own tune. Can you hear the difference?

This is one way of finding things in your tunes that you could have done better. It takes time, but one day you do this comparison between your and commercial tunes you won't find problems in your tunes anymore, you've developed so much that you don't need to do that comparison anymore. However, don't take too much influences from commercial tracks, just try to find your own thing, not someone other's thing.
